The Massimadi Festival, Canada's biggest event for Afro LGBTQ+ films and arts, invites you to celebrate the fall season with its 16th edition presented by TD, taking place from October 23 to 27, 2024. This year, the festival opens with a bold and inspiring program featuring 15 impactful cinematic works that celebrate Afro LGBTQ+ voices from near and far. Among the new features, a $1,000 award will be given to the film that wins the audience vote. Whether in-person or online, this edition promises unexpected discoveries, memorable encounters, and surprises at every turn, as we come together to celebrate the diversity and creativity of the Afro LGBTQ+ community.
