Beyond the festival, our team works to build inclusive cultural spaces, to forge links between queer African and Afro-descendant diasporas, and to give voice to those too often made invisible.

of the Massimadi Foundation
The board of directors of the Massimadi Foundation is the strategic heart of our organization. It is where the decisions that guide our mission are made, where our governance is strengthened, and where the sustainability of a unique Afro-queer cultural space is built.
We are currently seeking committed and competent individuals to join our Board of Directors on a voluntary basis: a secretary, a treasurer, and someone to assume the chairmanship of the board as part of a succession plan.
Whether you have expertise in law, accounting, governance or organizational leadership, and you wish to put your skills to work for a cause that is close to your heart, we look forward to meeting you.
