Through the sounds and language of waacking, five performers delve into a fifth dimension, exploring colors, perspectives, and intertwined worlds. Inspired by this dance, which originated in the LGBTQ+ underground clubs of Los Angeles in the 1970s as a gesture of freedom in the face of oppression, Q5 celebrates energy, expression, and diversity.
Born from a canceled 2021 show and transformed into a film, the project blends dance scenes, personal narratives, and community history to deliver a vibrant, multidimensional experience.

This film is presented from an educational perspective, in order to encourage reflection and dialogue.
