Maii Fallara (she/they/them) is a Black, trans, and queer artist, writer, and future psychologist or art therapist based in Montreal. Her multidisciplinary practice blends semi-figurative portraiture, poetic storytelling, and trauma-informed reflection to explore identity, grief, and resilience. Confronted with chronic illness and systemic neglect, Maii creates from the raw limits of her lived experience, transforming emotional fragmentation into complex art centered on healing.
They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting and Drawing) with a minor in Psychology at Concordia University, and work part-time in Psychiatric Administration at MUHC.
