SCREENINGS - OUR STORIES, OUR SCENES

screening 29 octobre.png

Queer and trans artists have always reshaped culture. On runways, in ballrooms, at protests, and in archives. This program celebrates creativity as a form of resistance and visibility, reclaiming space in the face of censorship, erasure, and attack.

Between shadow and light, these two works explore the power of the body and movement as a language of freedom.
With
Shade in the Sunshine State and Q5 - The Quintessentials , the artists immerse us in ballroom and waacking culture, celebrating Black queer identities through dance, performance, and self-expression.
Two films that transform the stage into a space of resistance, joy and rebirth.

The screening will be followed by a discussion.

DOORS OPEN AT 5:45 p.m.
