Massimadi Foundation - 663 av. Orly Dorval (Québec) H9P1G1 Canada - Non-profit organization declared in Quebec under the number REQ 1173864514 - The Massimadi Foundation is a member of the Conseil Québécois LGBT, Fierté Canada Pride and Interpride.
We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather for Massimadi is located on unceded stolen Indigenous lands. The Kanien’keha:ka Nation is recognized as the custodians of the lands and waters on which we gather today. Tiohtia:ke/Montreal is historically known as a gathering place for many First Nations. Today, it is home to a diverse population of Indigenous and other peoples. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within the Montreal community. As an organization that centers social justice, we feel it’s crucial to be informed on the past and ongoing consequences of colonialism. We encourage everyone to learn about the history of these lands and to support Indigenous resistance here and across Turtle Island.
