What if our stories became our most powerful weapons of resistance?

To kick off its 18th edition, the Massimadi Festival invites you to the Plaza Theatre for a memorable opening night themed around our "Living Memories".

At a time when our stories and our lives are being subjected to attempts to erase them around the world, this evening stands as a space for celebration, affirmation and collective freedom.

The evening's program

• 🎬 The inaugural screening: an excerpt from My Gender Is Black - a powerful work that explores the complex intersections between gender identity, race, and emancipation.

• ✨ Artistic performances: Dee Joyce, DJ Tokyo Mamii, Ohemaa, Big Sissy, RèN Darah, Athena Lucie Assamba...

• 🥂 A networking moment to meet, exchange ideas and launch these four weeks of festivities together.
